About Sitges
Located on the Mediterranean coast, 35 km south of Barcelona, Sitges is a coastal town that has always known how to protect its cultural and artistic values. The remains of the old medieval village are mixed with the legacy of the Americanos, the men and women who, returning with their fortunes from their American adventure, had large mansions built for themselves. In Sitges, there is still an air of the bohemian atmosphere inherited from versatile artist Santiago Rusiñol, who transformed it into the Mecca of Modernism. Since then, the town has aroused diverse artists and painter’s interest, and there is still a community of artists living here nowadays, who exhibit their pieces at their workshops. Its different art galleries and municipal exhibition halls keep us up to date on new pictorial tendencies.

| Scientific program |
|
The scientific program is the most important part of the ISNI Congress and has been appointed by the Local Organising Committee. It consists of magistral lectures, plenary lectures, concurrent symposia, oral platforms, poster sessions and training to compose a high level, well-balanced scientific program. Poster sessions are scheduled during the long lunch break to enable the participants to have time for discussing the data presented. The congress is preceeded by the 10th ESNI Course – European School of Neuroimmunology, a European initiative which organizes yearly educational courses spanning from basic immunology to clinical neuroimmunology (www.esni.org). |

The organisers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation upon request. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or permission to attend the 10th ISNI Congress and is not an official invitation covering fees and/or any other expenses or financial support from the conference. All participants must have registered and have paid the required registration fee in full before requesting an official letter of invitation otherwise we will not be able to process your request. The registration fee is refundable should the visa application or the permission be denied. All refund requests must be received before the congress by e-mail, fax or letter. No refunds will be made for cancellations received during or after the congress. Requests for an invitation letter have to be addressed to the Organising Secretariat |

Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering in Spain. Those requiring a visa for entry in Spain are strongly advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months before the intended date of travel. The organisers will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf. |

| Sitges has a mild, temperate climate, with mild winters and warm summers, thanks to its privileged coastal location, sheltered by the Garraf massif from the cold North and Northeast winds and inland winds. |

| The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneus translation will be provided. |
| Badges |
| For organisational reasons, all participants and exhibitors are requested to wear their badges at all times during the conference activities. Lost badges can be replaced at the registration desks. |
| Certificate of attendance |
| Certificates of attendance will be sent to all participants by e-mail after the conference end. |
| Lunches & breaks |
| Lunches, coffee and tea breaks are included in the registration fees. Badges should also be worn during these breaks. Special dietary requirements can be indicated on the registration form. |
| Insurance |
| The organisers will not accept liability for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. It is highly recommended that all participants carry proper health and travel insurance. |
